MDVI is defined
as "multiple disabilities, including visual impairment, which require
a specialised approach, specialised equipment, an individually
tailored curriculum and a uniquely individual approach". (From Second

MDVI Euronet is committed to improving knowledge, understanding and
good practice in the education of children and young people with
profound disabilities and complex needs in addition to a severe
visual impairment by:
- Raising awareness of the needs of children and young people with
MDVI.
- Building a knowledge base of good practice in MDVI education.
- Maintaining an e-communication network for MDVI practitioners.
- Developing and sharing good practice throughout Europe.
